Chemical Thrown At Two Women In Ramapo

RAMAPO, N.Y. -- Two Orthodox Jewish women were attacked in separate incidents that investigators are speculating may have been attempted sexual assaults, according to News 12.

In the most recent incident, which occurred on Thursday, a 53-year-old Monsey woman was attacked in her driveway by a man who threw some sort of liquid – possibly ammonia – in her face before struggling with the victim and fleeing the scene, News 12 reports.

A similar incident, in which the target was a 16-year-old girl, took place in Chestnut Ridge on Tuesday, according to News 12.
